How we work
Three habits run every job, whatever the building:
- Measure first. The wide pieces and the narrow points get compared before moving day, on the phone or with photos, so nothing about your house is discovered while holding furniture.
- Wrap properly. Blankets and straps as standard, paper before blankets on anything with a finish, corner protection on frames. Wrapping time is never wasted time; it is the insurance you can watch happening.
- Load once. The truck gets packed like it matters, heaviest first, strapped in courses, so it unloads in the order your new home wants and nothing shifts on the drive.
Why the rates are public
Every rate we charge is on the rate board: one of three hourly figures ($250, $350, $500) set by crew size and truck count. Publishing the rates keeps the conversation honest, and it means the only thing we estimate is the hours, out loud, with the reasons attached.
This suburb splits nearly fifty-fifty between units and houses and owns more kilns, crates of vinyl and workbenches per street than anywhere we know. Our whole way of working, the manifest, the wrap-first habit, the measured carry, comes from that mix.
What we will always tell you straight
If a job needs a rigging crew, a fine-art carrier or a bigger operation than us, we say so. If your building's lift is the bottleneck, we say that too, with what it means for hours. An estimate that survives contact with moving day is worth more than a flattering one, and it is the only kind we give.
